Say it with flowers! Bonus points if they conform to color trends. Here are a few examples in hues of purple – the 2014 shade of the year.

Use fresh flowers in displays whenever possible. Display aromatic blooms for added appeal. Lilacs, lavender, phlox, hyacinth and heliotrope are all particularly fragrant flowers available in various shades of purple.
